On October 27, 2025, KazGASA and Sangmyung University (Cheonan, Republic of Korea) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

As part of the international partnership, the Dean of the School of Design, Mr. Turar Uzakhbayev, completed training at the Faculty of Arts, where he studied modern teaching methods in the field of Webtoon – digital comics for online platforms.

The acquired knowledge and experience will make it possible to introduce the Webtoon discipline into the KazGASA educational program, providing students with opportunities to create digital art, develop storytelling, illustration, and animation skills, and participate in international projects and collaborations.

This cooperation strengthens academic ties between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea, broadens the horizons of international education, and promotes the integration of modern art forms into the learning process.
