During the Rector’s visit to the neighboring country, the two decision-makers discussed further steps in the development of the Union State Network University of High Technology (USNUHT).
The Minister thanked Dr Safin for the ongoing cooperation in the USNUHT project between KFU and Belarus State Technological University. He emphasized the importance of inviting other universities of both nations to the project.
Belarus State Technological University, as was mentioned during the talks, plans to open new majors with support from Russian partners, mainly in engineering and chemical technology.
Next year, KFU and BSTU intend to start a full-scale academic exchange program as part of USNUHT. In the first year, about 50 teachers and scientists from both sides will be able to apply.
