Responding to the call for building new urban-rural relations and promoting coordinated urban and rural development, the 6th Belt and Road International Student Competition on Digital Architectural Design focuses on the topics of "urban ecological civilization construction" and "urban renewal and ecological restoration." This year's competition is based at the Eden Eco-Education and International Living Demonstration Zone in Tianjin, China (abbreviated as "the Eden Zone"), and aims to solicit outstanding design proposals to optimize the landscape and functions of the zone.

To help participating teams gain a deeper understanding of the project background and site characteristics, two organized site visits will be arranged on July 6, 2025 (Sunday), and August 8, 2025 (Friday), respectively. The detailed arrangements are as follows:

3. Project Background Overview
Eden Eco-Education and International Living Demonstration Zone, located in Jizhou District, Tianjin, China, is the world’s first eco-education town themed around the Eden Project. It is a flagship Belt and Road cooperation project jointly developed by China and the UK. The project involves the original UK Eden Project design team and has a total investment of RMB 10 billion. It is dedicated to building an innovative cultural tourism destination that integrates nature, education, health, technological innovation, business travel, and leisure.

Teams or individuals interested in participating must complete the registration by scanning the QR code below.

Deadlines:
·For the visit on July 6, 2025 (Sunday), please register before June 30, 2025 (Monday).
·For the visit on August 8, 2025 (Friday), please register before July 7, 2025 (Monday).
On the morning of July 6, group transportation will be arranged from BUCEA (Daxing Campus). Return travel will be organized on the following day. Accommodation for one night and meals during the field study will be arranged by the organizers.
On August 8, no group transportation will be arranged. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip transportation. Accommodation for one night and meals during the field study will still be arranged by the organizers.
