On April 25, the “Frontier Forum on Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Technology for Urban Rail Transit Vehicles” was held at BUCEA.

This event was hosted by BUCEA, and jointly organized by the Beijing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Testing and Operation & Maintenance for Urban Rail Transit Vehicles, China Railway Electrification Engineering Group Co., Ltd., and Beijing General Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd.

Distinguished guests, including government officials, academicians, university leaders, and corporate executives, along with experts and scholars from domestic universities and research institutes, as well as industry representatives, attended the unveiling ceremony. Over 300 faculty and student representatives from BUCEA also participated in the event.

On behalf of the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and the Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park, Mr. ZHAI Tianrui extended his congratulations on the establishment of the laboratory. He pointed out that the strong “university + enterprise” alliance among BUCEA, China Railway Electrification Engineering Group Co., Ltd., and Beijing General Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. has led to the formation of a complete innovation chain of “theoretical research-technological breakthroughs-engineering practice-achievement application”.

ZHANG Dayu, President of BUCEA, pointed out that regarding the establishment of the “Beijing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Testing and Operation & Maintenance for Urban Rail Transit Vehicles”, BUCEA will provide full support to build the laboratory into a cutting-edge, collaborative, and highly effective top-tier domestic scientific research platform, as well as a world-leading hub for scientific and technological innovation.

DOU Baoxin, Chairman of China Railway Electrification Engineering Group Co., Ltd., noted that the joint establishment of this Beijing Key Laboratory is a key measure to deepen the integration of “industry, academia, research, and application” and promote the intelligent upgrade of the industry.

FENG Yanning, Deputy General Manager of Beijing General Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., also delivered a speech.

ZHAI Tianrui, ZHANG Dayu, DOU Baoxin, and FENG Yanning jointly unveiled the Beijing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Testing and Operation & Maintenance for Urban Rail Transit Vehicles.

YANG Jianwei, Vice President of BUCEA and Director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Testing and Operation & Maintenance for Urban Rail Transit Vehicles, gave an overview of the laboratory.

After the unveiling ceremony, the Frontier Forum on Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Technology for Urban Rail Transit Vehicles opened.

Professor DING Rongjun, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Scientist of CRRC, delivered a report titled “Digital and Intelligent Empowerment: Evolution, Breakthroughs, and Future of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Technology for Urban Rail Transit”.

Professor CHU Fulei from Tsinghua University delivered a report titled “Fault Diagnosis and Intelligent Operation & Maintenance of Industrial Equipment”.

Research fellow WANG Kaiyun, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Rail Transit Vehicle System at Southwest Jiaotong University, delivered a report titled “Research on the Theory and Key Technologies of Dynamic Interaction between Vehicle and Bridge in New Energy Suspended Monorail”.

After the report session, the participating leaders and experts jointly visited the Beijing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Testing and Operation & Maintenance for Urban Rail Transit Vehicles.
